ATC’s “Butterflies” Computer Generated Transparent BG

I created a background using Photoshop and several brushes; I then laser printed it on transparent sticker material. I punched the butterflies from hand-colored paper and fixed them onto a transparency with the colored side up. The background was then attached to the back of the butterfly layer. The ATC’s look nicest when you hold them up to the window, but here they are scanned from the back and front sides.

More Debts: ATC’s “Chairs”

These use some photos I found on the web on a background created with acrylics and gesso.

One is a tribute to the Thonet chair (created by German-Austrian furniture maker Michael Thonet who invented the technique of bentwood furniture. This chair is the most sold chair worldwide until today).

The ATC below has a photo of an ongoing outdoor exhibit in Brooklyn, New York “63 Chairs”. I found the photo here.
